In the dead of night

In the dead of night it is not our shadows we fear nor is it the demons in our closet. The fear that speaks loudest in our hearts is loneliness. The absence of light and sound is wat we fear for in the silence you’re all alone. What if the demons come for you while you’re on your own? Would your cries fall onto deaf ears? How can you know your loved ones are even there? Standing in the dark all alone you start to wander if this sound of silence will go on and on? Starting to cry you feel really small.
“O please God take me home, home is were my family waits it is light not this dark place.”
There is no longer need for you to cry for suddenly the sun is pulled into the sky. The birds start to sing chasing the silence away. You know you’re not alone for God gave you a brand new day
